If using an electric caulking gun, simply press and hold down the button on top of the caulk gun until it stops dispensing. If using an air operated caulking gun, simply remove the air hose at the bottom of your air operated caulking gun and then pull back on that hose until it is completely removed from your hand.

Step 2 – Apply Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline to Hands

Next up is applying petroleum jelly or vaseline to your hands before starting this process. This step will help protect your skin from becoming irritated by caulk remover and also help prevent any small cuts or scrapes on hands during this process! You can purchase petroleum jelly or vaseline at the grocery store, pharmacy, or drugstore.

Step 3 – Remove Caulk Remover from Hands

Now that you have applied petroleum jelly or vaseline to your hands, you’ll need to remove all of the excess caulk remover from your hands.
